Narrow streets clamber up the four hills that surround Modica, so that the town resembles the scene of Nativity. Once upon a time, these streets were walked

by Tommaso Campailla, a famous scientist of the XVII century, or by poets as Salvatore Quasimodo (Nobel prize for literature) who was born here in 1901.
